CableMaster provides common IEC plugs and connectors in a molded version. The female connector version of these plugs provides a safe, reliable, and affordable disconnect of the power cord from electrical equipment. Allowing an interchangeable power connection allows a manufacturer to sell their product anywhere in the world provided their equipment is capable of operating at voltage up to 250 volts and at 50 and 60 hertz.

The IEC standard designates the odd number connector (example C13) as the female connector and the even number (example C14) as the male plug.

These products are commonly used in conjunction with technology equipment such as computer monitors, servers, power distribution equipment (PDU’s) and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS’s)

The IEC products offered by CableMaster carry UL and CSA listings as well as many of the international safety approvals for use in Europe (VDE as an example) and Asia.
